This started out as a bad idea, and continues to enable my stupidity Verified Purchase

I have an old felt MTB, a 26er from 2012 that I was going to sell. Then the dreaded coof came along and I couldn't get the new bike I wanted. So I kept upgrading parts on this old bike like a total mug.

It's got some pretty good bits on it now, and I wanted to take it on some bikepacking trips. For this I needed a rigid fork that was suspension corrected, and I could hold luggage on. So I doubled down on stupidity and bought this.

Bloody hell this is a good fork.

It's steel, so it's bouncy enough with big tyres that you don't really notice the lack of a crappy suntour spring fork up front. It's made the bike much lighter and agile, and easy to fix some dry bags onto with the right cages. As a self-appointed arbiter of good taste, I think it also looks pretty cool.

Unfortunately, this is going to give me many more years out of my 12 year old bike. So I'll end up spending even more money on it in the future, like a total mug.
