Built from Salsa’s triple butted Cromoly steel, the Fargo frame delivers a smooth, compliant ride while maintaining the strength needed for heavy loads and demanding terrain. The geometry is optimized for stability and control, especially when the bike is fully loaded with bikepacking gear. Its long front triangle provides ample space for frame bags, while the multiple mounting points allow you to carry everything you need for extended adventures.

The Fargo’s versatility is one of its defining features. With clearance for wide 29” or 27.5+ tires, it’s ready to adapt to different surfaces and riding styles. The Alternator dropout system allows easy drivetrain adjustments and compatibility with single-speed, geared, or internally geared hubs, and even belt drives. Combined with abundant mounts for racks, bottles, and accessories, the Fargo frameset is the basis for a true expedition-ready machine.
