The lower crown race is split making fitting it on to the fork a tool-less breeze to fit. You will still need a headset press, but you can make one with a long bolt and some wood. You can even freeze the cups in a freezer (they contract), warm the frame by a radiator (it expands), and quickly whack them home. Actually, ignore that litigation fans...  You should always use a professional cycle mechanic to fit your components.
